The connection of Catherine Mumma as a daughter of Peter & Anna Gramm Mumma is circumstantial, but supported with strong facts and evidence.
I received the following information from Lori Kint, lori@lorikint.com
"I'm looking for information on Charles Mumma Lockard of Lancaster County, PA. I know that he was born in 1843, married Anna Gram(m), and had ten children (only three of whom lived). I have a family bible (printed in 1845) that lists the following children. It was just a holy bible printed in 1845, and on the inside cover someone had written:
Peter Lockard
Sarah Lockard
Susan
Charles M Lockard
Joseph Lockard died on the first day of May 1871"
There is a marriage record of a Charles Lockhard and Catherine Mumma on 1822 which was recorded in the First Reformed church records of Lancaster. These are likely Charles Mumma Lockard's parents.
In the 1830 & 1840 census, Charles & Catherine Lockhart are living next door to her brother(s) and father.
