Phillip was the oldest son of 8 children. He served in the Navy, and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church. He passed away after a long illness in Pleasant Hill, Ca. He is survived by his daughter Sara, two grandchildren, Jada and Isaiah, his mother Frances, sister Judith, and brothers Richard, John, and David. He is preceded by his wife Sharon, father Joseph, brothers Gordon and Tom, and his sister Donna. He will be laid to rest at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon.
