Notes:
Grace Hettinger, married John Calvin aka Shorty Mumma in 1907. To this union was born, Neva (Ning) Irene Mumma. The family moved to Omaha, NE and in 1915, Shorty died of appendicitis. Grace shortly after Johns death, married Robert Jackson Mumma, Shorty's brother. To that union was born Snooky Mumma in 1916, later renamed Pearl Haines when Snooky was in the fifth grade. Grace and Bob Mumma divorced when Snooky was about 10 yrs old. She later married Francis W Haines. To that union was born Charles Henry Haines. We think Charles was named after his maternal grandfather, Heinrich Karl. Francis divorced Grace and moved to CA where Charlie and his wife, Jo Ann lived. Grace had 8 grandchildren and many grt-grandchildren. She lived out her life as a nurse's aide and later retired to live with her daughter, Snooky, aka Pearl in rural Iowa. Grace died at the age of 101.
