"HARRISONVILLE, Pa. - Bertie Mae Price, 94, of 453 Laidig Road, and a resident of Pine Ridge Assisted Living and Retirement Home, Warfordsburg, Pa., died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at Menno Haven, Chambersburg, Pa. Born May 4, 1907, in Hiram, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William C. and Eliza F. Cline Hershey. Her husband, Gerald M. Price, died in 1993. They were married Sept. 4, 1935. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Fairview United Meth odist Church, Harrisonville, and taught primary Sunday school for several years. She was a former member of Fairview United Methodist Women and was treasurer for 48 years. She is survived by a daughter, Martha K. Earley of Greencastle, Pa.; a son, Richard C. Price of Harrisonville; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Josephine Keebaugh; three sisters, Ethel Jackson, Ava Fix and Nellie Strait; and two brothers, Walter Hershey and Charles Hershey. She was the last of her immediate family. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Fairview United Methodist Ch urch, Harrisonville. The Rev. Jay Saxe will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview United Methodist Cemetery, Harrisonville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Sipes Funeral Home Inc., Harrisonville, and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the church."
