ELIZABETH NEWCOMER (22 Nov 1793 York Co.,PA-28 May 1863 Paint Twp., Holmes Co., Ohio, d/o Abraham Newcomer & Mary Furry of Fayette Co.,PA, and granddaughter of immigrant Ulrich Newcomer & Magdalena Baumgartner of Hellam Twp., York Co., PA.
JOHN FREED was the son of Jacob Freed & Magdalena Beidler of Fayette Co., PA and grandson of Jacob & Elizabeth (Heffeltrauger) Freed of Bucks Co., PA. John was a nephew of the above John Freed (ca 1760-1825). This family , probably married in Fayette Co.,PA where their parents lived about 1815 and moved in 1818 to a farm between Wilmot & Winesburg in Holmes Co., Ohio. They are buried in Section 25 in the Beidler/Lamgkamp Cemetery.
