WATERFALL, Pa. - Hazel Rebecca Barnett, 93, of Blacks Mountain Road, died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at her home after an extended illness. Born July 17, 1910, in Wells Valley, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Rosswell and Sarah Crider Stains. Her husband, Sebert D. Barnett, died March 9, 1996. They were married March 21, 1942. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Center United Methodist Church, Waterfall, and the Ladies Aide Society. She was a member of Hustontown (Pa.) Area Senior Citizens. She is survived by one daughter, Brenda R. Pepple of Waterfall; one son, Howard R. Barnett of Wells Tannery, Pa.; six grandchildren, Michael Barnett of Crystal Spring, Pa., Erika Bowman, Ashley Pepple and Brittani Pepple, all of Everett, Pa., Kenneth Mumma of Waterfall and Joseph Mumma of Fort Littleton, Pa., and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at M.R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown. The Revs. George Clippinger and Belvy White will officiate. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Waterfall. Visitation will be today from 4 to 9 p.m. and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the funeral home.
