91, of Chesterfield, Mo., formerly of Decatur, died 1 p.m. Monday (May 29, 2000) in Garden View Nursing Home, Chesterfield.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home with visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials: American Heart Association or donor's choice.
Mrs. Mumma was born in East St. Louis on Dec. 27, 1908, the daughter of Walter and Corine Martin Edwards. She retired as secretary for the assistant superintendent of Decatur public schools. She was formerly secretary at Woodrow Wilson Junior High and MacArthur High School and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She married Floyd W. Mumma. He preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 1965.
Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn D. Kruzan and husband Davis of Dayton, Ohio; sons, J. Steven Mumma and wife Carol of Newburgh, Ind.; Philip R. Mumma and wife Sharon of Chesterfield; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers, Vern Edwards and Walter Edwards.
