"Patricia W. Snyder, Shippensburg, died Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Homewood, Martinsburg [Blair Co, PA]. Born March 18, 1929, in Kearney [Bedford Co, PA], she was a daughter of the late William Percy and Ida L. (Anderson) Winter. She married William C. Snyder June 30, 1951. Mr. Snyder survives. She is also survived by a sister, Peggy A. Cottle, Hopewell; and a niece, Karen L. Greise, Bedford. Mrs. Snyder was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Shippensburg, and was a former member of the United Methodist Church, Defiance. She was a 1947 graduate of Saxton-Liberty High School. Mrs. Snyder was employed for 14 years at Sagner Inc., McConnellsburg, during the early 1950s to late 1960s. She enjoyed seamstress work, traveling, home and flower decorating and gardening. At Mrs. Snyder's request, no services, viewing or visitation will be held. Interment will be made at the convenience of the family in St. Paul's Reformed Church Cemetery, Yellow Creek, Bedford County. The family requests flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made in memory of Mrs. Snyder to a nonprofit organization of the donor's choice." [Huntingdon Daily News]
