"Kathryn G. Naugle, age 82, of 10753 Path Valley Road Fannettsburg, Pa., died on Thursday, May 20, in her home. Born on October 8, 1921, in Fannettsburg, [Franklin Co.] she was the daughter of the late Stephen K. and Dora (Stake) Geyer. She married Benjamin S. Naugle on July 10, 1938. Mr. Naugle died on April 17, 1995. Retired since 1995, she had worked for U-Wanta-Wash sewing factory in Ft. Loudon, Pa., Tracey Fashions and Stanley Company, both formerly of Chambersburg. In 1957 she became a licensed beautician. She owned and operated her own salon in Fannettsburg, and worked part-time as a Fire & Liability Inspector for Valley Mutual Insurance Company in Shippensburg. She worked for three years at Witmer's Green House, Willow Hill, Pa. Following her retirement, she worked for Dage Inc., of Chambersburg, as a craft decorator of wood products. She is survived by one son, Benjamin E. "Ed" husband of Emma Naugle of Spring Run, Pa., five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Aside from her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Roszetta Hockenberry , one sister and five brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 24, in the John L. Agett Funeral Home, Dry Run. The Rev. Marlin "Butch" Neil will officiate. Burial will follow in Upper Path Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2700 Luther Drive Chambersburg, Pa. 17201. Arrangements are by John L. Agett Funeral Home Inc., Dry Run."
