DIGHTON ?Mrs. Janet Kay Knauf, 29, former resident of Dighton, died Monday at Garden City after a short illness.
Born Dec. 22, 1942, in Dighton, she was married to Derry Knauf June 11, 1961, in Dighton.
She lived at Garden City four years.
Survivors include the widower; sons: David and Daniel, of the home; parents: Mr. and Mrs Clarence Mumma, Dighton; sisters: Mrs. Shirley Merritt, Kansas City; brothers: Bill Mumma, Independence; Clarence Mumma, Kansas City; step- brothers: Glenn Mumma and Carl Mumma, Dighton; step-sisters: Mrs. Katherine Allen, Balboa, Calif.; Mrs. Rose Eaton, Riverdale, Calif.; Mrs. Esther Burroughs, Independence; Mrs. Marie Evans, Lyons.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Christian Church, Dighton; Rev. Joe Tempfer. Burial will be in Dighton Memorial Cemetery. Niles-Zenor Funeral Home, Dighton is in charge of arragements.
