ESCONDIDO - Beulah Gaye Mumaw, 78, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004.
Born Aug. 16, 1925, in West Virginia, she lived in Escondido since 1956. She assisted with the Bethel Baptist Church hospice program and was a member of the church. She enjoyed gardening, needlepoint and ceramics.
Mrs. Mumaw was preceded in death by her husband, W.F. Mumaw Sr., in 2000.
She is survived by her son, Fred Mumaw of Escondido; daughters and son-in-law Barbara Jardin and Joyce and Jeffrey Glaser, all of Vancouver, Wash.; brothers and sisters-in-law Rupert and Marion Nicholas of West Virginia, and Golden and Ruth Nicholas and William and Edna Nicholas, all of Ohio; sisters Belva Hall of West Virginia, Pearl and Thomas Matuska of Ohio, and Acelee and Ron Casale of Lakeside; grandchildren Angela, Andrea, Amber, Timothy, Crystal, Julia, Joyce, Jonathon, Jason, Jared and Joshua; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at Bethel Baptist Church, 855 Brotherton Road in Escondido. Fellowship will follow.
North County Cremation Service in San Marcos is handling arrangements.
