Salem, Oregon - Lillian A. Coyne, 79, of Salem passed on November 11, 2016. She was born in Chicago, the eldest of 7 children born to Clarence and Alice (Moomau) Thompson. The Thompson family moved to Markham, Illinois where Lillian graduated from Bremen High School in 1955 and went on to attend Nursing school at the University of Indiana in Terre Haute where she met her husband George Allan.
Lillian married George Allan in Markham, Illinois in July of 1958. She left college to start a family a year later. Together they have four grown children and eight grandchildren. They were divorced in 1988. Lillian later married Roy Tanaka (1999 - 2001) then Duane Coyne (2008 - 2014)
Lillian leaves behind four children: Jane (Salem, OR); George (Yelm, WA); Jacqueline (Los Gatos, CA); and Joyce (Albany, OR). She also leaves her mother Alice (Port St. Lucie, FL), three sisters, two brothers and eight grandchildren.
