Fannie May Mumma, daughter of Elias Mumma and Matilda Bomberger was born 12 October 1866, probably in Buffalo Twp, Ogle, Illinois. She died 2 Dec 1952 in Lee Co., IL:. (County Death records.)
She married Joshua Edward Houpt (b. 13 Sep 1857 in MD, d. 28 Apr 1933 in Lee County, IL) about 1887 in Lee County. (Joshua E. Houpt and Fanny Muma, County Marriage Records, Book B 1873-1896 p. 312.)
They had 8 children: Hazel, Winnie, Raymond, Fern Elizabeth, Faye Irene, Earl E., Gladys M., and one whose name I haven't found.
The Houpt family lived in Woosung, Ogle, Illinois at the time of the 1900 and 1910 census enumerations. They lived in Dixon, Lee, Illinois in 1920.

MRS. FANNIE HAUPT (1866-1952)
Mrs. Fannie Mae Haupt, 85 (?? can't read) of 305 Boyd st., lifelong Dixon area
resident, died about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in her home after an illness of four weeks.
She was born Oct 12, 1866 (??), at Woosung. She married Joshua Haupt.
Mrs. Haupt is survived by a son, Raymond, Freeport, and three daughters, Gladys, at home, and Mrs. Fern Rossiter and Mrs. Faye Zuend, both of Dixon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, two daughters and her parents.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Melvin Funeral Home with the Rev. George J. Curran officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery north of Dixon.
