Kaye Michele Moomaugh (Mayer), 67, born Oct. 21, 1939, Bend, Ore. She passed away June 2, 2007, automobile accident near home; Bajamar, Baja California, Mexico. Michele, the only child of Reece Edward Mayer and Maxine Arnold Mayer, graduated from Emmett (Idaho) High School in 1958. Friends knew her as "Mike." Her education included a B.A., U of Idaho in Moscow, member Gamma Phi Beta. She graduated from Oregon State University, Corvallis, M. Ed. Michele's education and free spirit took her many places including a high school English teacher, Oregon State U graduate work and raising two children as a single mom. She worked at the U of Arkansas, ACSC, LaPaz, Bolivia, Asst. Executive Director for Colegio Valle Verde, Guatemala City, Guatemala, and Student Personnel Director William Wood College, Fulton, Mo. 1978, Michele moved to San Diego, worked as Project Manager for Social Advocates for Youth, an ESL Instructor at Mira Costa College, as an Organization Effectiveness Specialist, City of San Diego. In 1988 Michele and associate Robin Reid formed Reid Moomaugh & Associates, Organization Development Consultants. Michele is survived by two brothers, Gary Mayer, London, and Edwin Mayer, Medford, Ore., husband, Edward M. Brewer, Bajamar, Mexico, former husband, Ed Moomaugh, San Francisco, son, Jeffry Hart Moomaugh, Tucson, Ariz., daughter, Shirlee Brewer, Reno, Nev., son, Kristian Brewer, Glenco, Ohio, son-in-law Max Norvell, Anchorage, Alaska, two grandsons Jac Moomaugh-Norvell and Brock Brewer. Michele was preceded in death by her father, Reece, May 2006, and daughter, Stacia Moomaugh, Anchorage, Alaska, Feb. 12, 2007. Michele was cremated at San Ramon Mortuary, Rosarito, Mexico.
