Beulah P. Moomau
(September 27, 1908 - February 9, 2006)
Beulah Pearl Moomau, 97, of 119 James Street, Keyser, WV, more recently a resident of Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home, died Thursday, February 9, 2006 at the nursing home.
Born on September 27, 1908 at William, WV, she was a daughter of the late James Adam and Hannah Susan (Judy) Kimble. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Fred D. Moomau on September 15, 1989; three brothers, Bunice, Ersel and Riley Kimble; one sister, Belva Kimble and two nieces, Billie Fortney and Jane Kidwell. Mrs. Moomau was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Moomau was formerly employed at the Celanese Amcelle Corporation and with the WPA in the 1930's. She attended Potomac State College and was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Keyser.
Surviving are six nieces, Sharon Junkins, Charlene Parrill and Marlene Rice, all of Keyser, Linda Matney of North Carolina, Sally Haugh of Leesburg, VA and Judy Beeson of Woodsfield, Ohio; one nephew, Ronnie Kimble of Fort Ashby, WV and a number of grand nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Sunday, February 12 from 4-6 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted immediately following the visitation at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. James A. McCune officiating.
Private interment will be in the Queen's Point Cemetery, Keyser.
