Emily R. ( Timothy ) Mumma, 83, of Harrisburg, went to be with Jesus on Thursday July 30, 2009 . Born on April 20, 1926 to the late Paul W. and Catherine (Rice) Timothy.
She was the widow of Ralph R. Mumma
She was predeceased by a brother, Paul (Buck) Timothy and three sisters, Fannie and Jane Timothy and Beatrice (Bea) Horst.
She was a member of Victory Community Church of Fishing Creek.
Emily enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are a son, Ronald P. and wife Paula (Nickle) Mumma of Hummelstown, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren, two brothers, Christian R. Timothy of York and John P. and wife Helen Timothy of Mechanicsburg, her best friend and caregiver, Dorothy (Dot) Johnston of Linglestown, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2009 at 12:00 noon in the Neumyer Funeral Home Inc. 1334 N. 2nd. St. Harrisburg. Pastor Sam Willis will be officiating.
Viewing will be from 11:00 AM until time of service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Township.
