Notes:
Joseph Edward Rohrer, well
known resident of Hagerstown, died
at 2 a.m. Tuesday at his home, 32
Chestnut street, of complications
after an illness of six months, at
the age of 89.
Born and reared in Sharpsburg,
he was the son of Henry and Mary (Mumma)
Rohrer, and has resided here for
48 years.
Surviving are his wife, Ann Rebecca:
sons, Henry E. Chewsville; Joseph F,.
Hagerstown; Robert R.,Old Forge road:
eight grandchildren and four great
grandchildren
The body was removed to the A. K.
Coffman funeral home where representatives
from the Democrats and 2 p. m., Rev. Cyril
Hoover officiating. Interment in Mt. View
cemetery, Sharpburg.
