E. Chloe Harkless, 85, of Decatur, IN went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 30, 2009 at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IN. She was born on August 27, 1924 in Adams County, IN to James Clifford and Alvina (Bucher) Harkless. She is survived by 11 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a nephew.
Chloe was a member of the former Pleasant Grove United Brethren Church. She served as a youth leader for over 40 years with the church?s Christian Endeavor Youth Organization. She worked at General Electric and retired after 42 years of service.
Visitation will be from 2:00 ? 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2009 at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Mark Beers will be officiating and burial will take place in the Decatur Cemetery.
