An Anton Trittinger is listed as arriving via Ellis Island on 19 April 1919, is 26 years old and single.
If this is the same Anton Trittinger, is is not clear how he and Nettie Mumaw and John, the son was conceived. In the 1920 census, A Nettie Trittinger, married, is living with her parents. I suspect he and Nettie Mumaw were never married. In California he became a lighthouse keeper and married a woman named Frieda and are listed in the and they had several children
By 1930, an Anton Trittinger is living in Lomita California and he is the head lightkeeper at the Point Vicente Lighthouse.

He is married to Freida. They were both born in Austria. They have two children.
