FLORENCE ? Jean King Mumaw of Florence died April 23 of age-related causes at age 87. No service is planned.
She was born Sept. 28, 1920, in Cottage Grove to Carl and Merl Phillips King. She married John Londahl in 1940 and they later divorced. She married John Mumaw in 1951.
She had worked as a registered nurse in hospitals in Eugene, Portland, Fresno, Calif., and Winnemucca, Nev. She graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1938.
Survivors include two sons, Jan Londahl of Portland and John Mumaw of Cortez, Colo.; a stepdaughter, Suzanne Mumaw Slader of Menlo Park, Calif.; and a sister, Joan Dunn of Reedsport. Her husband died in 1999. A son, Stephen Londahl and a daughter, Tracy Mumaw Hubrich, died previously.
