Ray B. Wallace
Ray B. WALLACE, 74, of 405 N. Maple St., Argos, died at 4:50 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Hospital.
He was born Sept. 29, 1910 in Marshall County, to Frank N. and Pearl BENNETT WALLACE, who preceded in death.
Living in Argos for the past two years, Wallace came from Plymouth and had resided in Westville and Rochester.
On July 12, 1946 in Plymouth, he married Juanita EBER, who preceded in death Jan. 13, 1970.
In 1975 he retired from the Nickle Plate Railroad where he worked in track maintenance.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lynita LANZ, Plymouth, and Mrs. Randy (Lorita) REED, Hermitage, Tenn.; a grandson, Kevin REED, Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Anna Jane STOCKBERGER, Argos, and Mrs. Merle (Ruby) SHIVELY, Warsaw; six brothers, Kenton and Morris [WALLACE], both of Argos, Carl [WALLACE], Napa, Calif., Donald [WALLACE], Leesburg, and Frank E. [WALLACE], Warsaw; several nieces and nephews. A brother, Wayne [WALLACE], preceded in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Grossman Funeral Home, Argos. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rochester. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and prior to the services on Monday.
