Dora Elizabeth Miracle Maiden Mumaw, 78, New Salisbury, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Sept. 15, 1930, in Frakes, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Eliza Partin Miracle.
She was retired from the old Keller Manufacturing Co.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Rutherford Maiden; a daughter, Janice Naugle; and a grandchild.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Maiden of Indianapolis and John Maiden of Corydon; three daughters, Betty Nolot and Audrey Weathers, both of New Salisbury, and Mary Kintner of Depauw; a brother, A. E. Miracle of Pineville, Ky.; four half brothers, Alva, Nevil and Phillip Miracle, all of Pineville, and Ben Miracle of Middlesboro, Ky.; five half sisters, Della Murphy of Knoxville, Tenn., Janie Partin, Jeanetta Shackelford and Betsy Hickman, all of Pineville, and Geneva Fuson of Frakes, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Feb. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 17, after 9 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in El Bethel Cemetery in Marengo.
Officiant: The Rev. Jackie Smith.
Pallbearers: Kevin Kintner, Jeremy and Wayne Weathers, Robert and John Nolot and Josh Naugle.
