Mr. David L. Mumaw, 67, of 1111 Longwood Dr., LaPorte, died Sunday, March 27, 2005, at 4:57 a.m. at LaPorte Hospital.
He was born May 27, 1937, in Indianapolis to Ernest W. and Dorothy I. (Fairfield) Mumaw, and had lived in the LaPorte area since 1962, coming from Crawfordsville, Ind.
Mr. Mumaw retired in 1999 as a supervisor with American Metal Products.
On Nov. 2, 1957, in Indianapolis, he married Phyllis Thompson, who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Margaret Sawyer of LaPorte; three sons, Lee (Roberta), William (Mary) and Thomas (Tina), all of LaPorte; six grandchildren, Conan and Erik Sawyer and Mathew, Andrew, Dylan and Bailey Mumaw; and one sister, Phyllis Badger of Greenfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Patricia Preston, Helen Francis Mumaw and Helen Florence Maser; and three brothers, Lowell, Ernest Jr. and James.
