Kimberly A. Mumma, of Collegeville, passed away Wednesday August 3, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 37 years old. Kim was born December 17, 1978 and was the daughter of Richard A. and Cynthia L. (nee Dobbs) Mumma and was the longtime companion of Brayden Manna. Kim was raised in Penn Square Village and attended St. Titus School and Kennedy Kenrick High School, Class of 1997. She received an Art Scholarship upon graduation and attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. For a short time, she worked as a Social Worker for Montgomery County and for State Farm Insurance. Most recently, Kim worked for Aetna Health Care in Blue Bell as a Patient Concierge, and traveled abroad for that company. Kim was an avid cook. She began cooking as a hobby and it turned into a passion benefitting both family and friends. Kim loved gardening, as well as working on art projects and enjoyed learning about muscle cars with the help of her dad. She enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with her boyfriend Brayden. Her two cats, Tran and Dakota brought great joy and comfort to her. Kim was also an avid reader and enjoyed viewing movies after reading the books for comparison. She played softball while in both High School and College, and continued playing for her company teams as well. She also participated as a competitive Horseshoe player and proved her worth as an excellent teammate in many a competition. In addition to both of her parents Richard and Cynthia Mumma, Kim is survived by her brother Richard A. Mumma, Jr., also of East Norriton, her boyfriend Brayden Manna of Collegeville and many relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to share in Kim?s Life Celebration on Monday August 8, from 5 to 7:55 PM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000. Her funeral service will begin at 8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
