Almeda (Stoner) Slaseman, 87, of New Cumberland, died Sunday, July 4, 2010 at her residence. She was the wife of the late James Slaseman, Sr.
Born September 25, 1922 in York County, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Blanche (Snyder) Stoner.
Almeda was a member of Christian Life Assembly, Camp Hill and TOPS, New Cumberland.
She is survived by two sons, James Slaseman, Jr. married to Glenda, New Cumberland and Martin Guy Slaseman married to Maria, New Cumberland; two daughters, Anna Slaseman Mumma, Chambersburg and Sanfra Slaseman Anstine married to William Anstine, Jr., York; 14 grandchildren, 2 deceased; 15 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Phyllis Timmins, Mechanicsburg and Faye Anderson, Dillsburg.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Life Assembly, 2645 Lisburn Road, Camp Hill with Pastor Ron Smith and Pastor Paul Wislocky officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. The Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
