It is unclear who Virginia's father is. Charles and Alice were married just before the census. In the 1910 census, Charles and Alice have 3 children listed and that is what they claim. From the book, "Someone you Knew", Virginia's mother is listed as Lydia who is unmarried, but she doesn't appear in the 1910 census.
