Beatrice M. Wilbur
Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Marguerite Wilbur, 56, of Newport, were held Tuesday, December 1, at the Bateman Newport Chapel. Interment followed at Mount Crest Abbey in Salem. Mrs. Wilbur was born in McCluskey, N. D. on January 15, 1908 and died at the Pacific Communities Hospital on November 28. She had been a reseident of Newport for the past 21 years.
Survivors are her widower, Karn, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Charley Boyer of Salem, a daughter Mrs. Edra Lyon in Los Angeles, Calif.; four sons, Max in Corvallis, Rex in Avon Park, Florida, Lyle in Los Angeles, Calif., and Kelly in the Armed Forces stationed in Korea; three brothers, Fred, Elmer and Charles Boyer, all of Salem, and nine grandchildren.
*cause of death: malnutrition, organic brain disease and alchoholism
