Mary Anna Czekansky

left her loving family on March 18, 2012 to begin her next journey. She was born Jan. 11, 1935 in Waynesburg, Ohio to Bernadine Wiseburn and John Henry Mumma. She was a loving, devoted wife to 'her Joey' for nearly 60 years, loved dearly by her family and her friends. She loved her cats, Baby, Tigger, and Tuffy as if they were also her children. Mary Anna attended Canton Lincoln High School and retired from Fisher Foods Bakery. She belonged to many organizations throughout her life, such as the Cedar School P.T.A., Girl Scout Leader, McKinley Ladies Eagles #2370 F.O.E., served as President of A.A.R.P.Chapter #4121, and the Fisher Foods Retirees. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael.
She will be missed by her husband, Joseph Czekansky; daughters, Mary Bryder, Cheryl (Ron) Frailly; and daughter-in- law, Norma Czekansky. Her grandchildren, Derek and Bryan (Mellissa) Keim, Ron, Tim, and Chris Frailly, Michelle and Jennifer Czekansky; her great-grandchildren, Arabella and Braiden Keim, Daniel and Caylynn Frailly loved her so much and also will be missing her hugs and warm smile. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Aultman Hospital, Dr. Trehan, and the Woodlawn Compassionate Care Center for the wonderful care and respect they extended to Mom as well as her family.
The family is respecting her request for no calling hours or services.
