Roxie Delaine Mumaw Stickley age 75, a resident of Strasburg passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Winchester Medical Center.
A funeral service for Mrs. Stickley will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Minister Chris Straley officiating. Burial will follow in Fishers Hill Cemetery.
She was born in Shenandoah County on April 9, 1935 a daughter of the late Elmer Lee, Sr. and Zella Naomi Miller Mumaw. She was a member of the Emmanuel Church of Fishers Hill. She was a member of the Strasburg Women of the Moose Chapter 1319. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Rickey Lynn Stickley, and a sister, Elizabeth Mumaw.
Survivors include her children, Michael A. Stickley and wife, Linda of Charles Town, WV, Pam Simmons and husband, Eddie of Strasburg, and Kevin Stickley of Strasburg; one granddaughter, Devin Stickley; one great-granddaughter, Kenidee Lynn Blevins; a brother, Elmer Lee Mumaw, Jr. and wife Helen of Strasburg.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Bly, Larry Clark, Johnny Jenkins, Matt Jenkins, Michelle Robinson, and Mikie Robinson
The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-8PM
