Dan P. Mumaw, longtime resident of Hunterdon County, died on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township.
Born in Cincinnati, Feb. 5, 1918, he was a former firefighter there before moving to New Jersey.
He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati and worked for many years for Star Corrugated Box Company until retiring. He loved horses.
He was an Army Air Corps veteran.
Funeral arrangements will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington.
