Helen A. Mumaw, 92, formerly of Nazareth, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Gracedale. Born: April 4, 1920 in Lehighton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Helen May Strausberger Muffley. Personal: Her husband, Fred F. Mumaw, died December 2, 1992. Helen retired from the former Food Lane, where she was employed for 32 years at the South Side Easton stores. Years ago, she worked at the former JoAnn Dress and Eagle Youth Center. Memberships: She was a member of Forks United Church of Christ and its Adult Fellowship. Survivors: Two sons, Ronald F. and his wife Joan, of Nazareth, and Barry L. and his wife Diana, of Williams Township; six grandchildren, Cindy Aicher and her husband Steve, Tammy Oberly and her husband Barry, Debbie Hartzell and her husband Alan, Ronda Shook, Audra Moraski and her husband Gregory, and Christopher Mumaw and his companion Joanna Moyer; eleven great-grandchildren, Derick Whitmore and his wife Kimberly, Emily Aicher, Alyssa and Miranda Oberly, Ryan and Lyndsey Hartzell, Zachary, Cayden and Samantha Shook, and Alexander and Benjamin Moraski; and a great-great-grandson, Austin Whitmore. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Forks United Church of Christ, 4500 Sullivan Trail, Stockertown. Call Tuesday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in Forks Cemetery.
