"January 9th, 1879, at the redidence of the bride's grand parents in Sharpsburg, by Rev. A. C. Geary, Mr. J. E. THOMAS of Baltimore. to Miss M. ADA MUMMA, daughter of Mr. Henry C. Mumma, and grand-daughter of H. B. Rohrback, Esq. of Washington Co., Md."

Mrs. MARTHA ADA THOMAS died at the home of her son, George J. Thomas, 202 West Maple Street, Alexandria, Va., on Saturday. Widow of J.E. Thomas, she is survived by two sons, George J., Alexandria, and Harry J., Sharpsburg; brothers, Walter and Allen Mumma.
Funeral services were held at the Wheatley Funeral Home, Alexandria; interment was in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
