HUME - John J. age 89 on May 25th, 2012 Proudly served as a Naval Quartermaster during WWII in the European-African and Asiatic-Pacific theaters. Predeceased by his first wife and mother of his daughter Frieda (nee Novak) and his second wife Florence (nee Mumma-Pfeffer). He is survived by his daughter Linda (Frank) Candiano and grandchildren Robert and Courtney (Joseph Suriano). He also has 3 step-sons and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Rita, Ruth, Marie andJoseph. Visiting George T. Davis Funeral Home, New Rochell, Thurs. 2-4 and 7-9. AM interment Friday at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
