BARBARA LORD Barbara Rosalie (Bentley) Lord, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017, at her home. She was born January 14, 1938, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Ralph and Violet (Mumaw) Bentley. Barbara graduated from Northwestern High School in 1956. She served in the U.S. Air Force before marrying James Lord Sr., who preceded her in death. Barbara was a 52-year resident of Las Vegas. Barbara is survived by her sons, James II (Dori), John (Annette) and Joseph (Tammy); 11 beloved grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, James (Carolyn) Bentley, Roger (Doris) Bentley and Dan Bentley, all of Kokomo, Indiana, Doug (Kathy) Bentley of Logansport, Indiana, and Bill (June) Tooley of North Port, Indiana. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, of 55 years; parents; and sisters, Lois (Tooley) Nall and Margaret (Tooley) Porter. Celebration of Barbara' life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 12, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
