In 1920, Anna and children are listed in the Stavanger City Directory as living at 14 Baldersgate which is in the "old city"

Paul, the son, emmigrated to America on 27 March 1906. His brother, Ferdinand, joins his brother Paul in Chicago in 1923 and marries. They have a son named Harold who was born in Chicago.in 1927. Apparently, in 1928, Ferdinand returns to Stavanger with his family, probably due to the depression which is gripping America. Paul remains in America with his wife and family.
