Notes:
Richard "Dick" Murphy passed away at the age of 84 at his home in College City on December 24, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in College City, CA, on December 2, 1931, to Jack and Faye Murphy.
Richard lived in College City all of his life and farmed in the Arbuckle area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his children and grandchildren play sports.
Richard is survived by his children, Joanie (Andy) Mumma of College City; Hank (Shelly) Murphy of Arbuckle; grandchildren Chris Mathews, Katie Mathews, Shasta Mumma, Madison Leighty, Weston Leighty, Sierra Murphy, Bryce Murphy; great-grandson Justin Mathews, and his dog Spottie.
Richard was preceded in death by his late wife Audrey Murphy, daughter Judy Murphy, and siblings Patrick Murphy and Jackie Murphy.
A service will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at 10:00am at McNary- Moore Chapel in Colusa.
Memorial contributions may be made in Richard's name to College City Cemetery.
