OBITUARY :
WILLIAM TODD "BILLY" KLIPP, 40, of Elkridge, passed away, Saturday, July 28, 2007, at his home.
Born Nov. 7, 1966, in Hagerstown, he was the son of George Herbert Klipp Sr. of Elkridge and Glenda Ramona Haden Klipp Cummings of Hagerstown.
Billy was employed as a mechanic by CFM Inc. in Baltimore.
He is survived by his wife of seven years, Cynthia Ann Poist of Glen Burnie, Md.; one daughter, Morgan Marie Klipp at home; one sister, Kimberly E. Klipp Tarner of Deltona, Fla.; one brother, George H. Klipp Jr. of Waynesboro, Pa.; stepfather, James R. Cummings of Hagerstown; one niece, Renee Wilk of Hagerstown; four nephews, Charles Gerry of Burlington, Vt., Timothy Gerry of Rutland, Vt., Dustin Hastings of Hagerstown, and Evan Marshall of Sharpsburg; three stepbrothers; two stepsisters; one great-niece; two great-nephews; five aunts; three uncles; and 12 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William E. Haden Sr. and Helen E. Tyree Haden; paternal grandfather, Herbert L. Klipp; paternal grandmother, Gladys T. Mumma Klipp Benner; paternal stepgrandfather, Charles Benner; and one great-niece, Shawna Marie Domer.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown, with the Rev. Daniel Fraley officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the trust fund for his daughter, Morgan, c/o George H. Klipp Jr., 13104 Welty Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268.
