Nancy M. Pyle Greenawalt, 87, of Mount Joy passed away peacefully on December 7, 2016. She was the loving wife of Warren H. Greenawalt with whom she shared 69 years of marriage last April 25th. Also surviving is her daughter Nancy Jo Greenawalt of Stroudsburg.
Nancy was employed by the Donegal School District as cafeteria manager for the former Grandview Elementary School. She was a 66 year member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Mount Joy where she assisted in the nursery. She enjoyed the company of friends, playing cards, and traveling on bus trips with her husband.
Born in Elizabethtown, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Cora Mumma Pyle. Two sisters, Betty Lightner of Rheems and Grace Trostle of Elizabethtown survive her. She was preceded in death by siblings Jane and Robert Pyle.
A Graveside Service will be held in Henry Eberle Cemetery, Marietta Ave., Mount Joy on December 13, 2016 at 12:30 PM. Nancy's family will receive friends at St. Mark's Fellowship Hall, 37 East Main Street, Mount Joy immediately following the service.
