Howard E. "Hubby" Donahey, 70, of Indianola, Indiana Township, died Sunday (May 30, 2004) at UPMC St. Margaret, Pittsburgh.
Born Aug. 2, 1933, in Erie, he lived in Indianola 33 years.
Mr. Donahey owned and operated Donahey Electronics.
He was a member of Indianola United Presbyterian Church, the Masons, Verona, Syria Shrine, Harmar, and the Indianola Rod and Gun Club.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth E. Mumaw Donahey; three sons, Glenn Donahey of Newport, Landon Donahey of Pasadena, Md., and Daniel Donahey of Indianola; a daughter, Lynn Santimyer of West Newton; nine grandchildren; his mother, Jean Donahey of Indianola; a brother, Donald Donahey of California; and a half sister, Dorothy Smith of Florida.
He was preceded in death by a grandson; his father, Herman Donahey; and two half brothers.
Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in CHESWICK at CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC., 1607 Pittsburgh Street, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be private. Burial at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township. Members of the Masons will conduct a service at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
