Juanita A. Mumme, 80, of Sullivan, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at the Masonic Health Care Center in Dousman. She was born July 7,1927, in Bonaparte, Iowa, to Orville Weiher and Edith Swift.
Juanita was a former secretary for Paul's Oil in Waukesha. She married Paul Mumme in Madison on Sept. 27,1946. Paul preceded her in death. She was a volunteer for the Jefferson County Meals on Wheels program and was an avid bingo player.
Juanita is survived by her daughters, Karen (Conrad) Rudolph of Waukesha and Susan Rudolph of Racine; her brother, Harold Weiher of Sullivan; her grandchildren, Amy (Bill) Radtke of Rochester, John (Becky) Rudolph of Fredonia, Patty Rudolph of Missouri, David (Amy) Rudolph of Alaska, Gloria Rudolph of Cudahy and Keith (Carol) Rudolph of Watertown; and special friend, Ken Brereton of Jefferson.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at St. Lukes Lutheran Church, W1956 Main St., Rome. Her final rest will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park.
Memorials may be given to St. Lukes Lutheran Church or the Waukesha Training Center.
