Stanley Earl Muma, 80, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away at his home. He was born the son of Harry & Flossie (Good) Muma. He first married Betty Mae Mercer. He then married Patricia Haas in Gladwin on February 16, 1969. She predeceased him August 26, 1998. He married his current wife Mabel Madol in Gladwin on November 29, 2000. Stanley had lived in Gladwin County most of his life and was an Elder at the Community of Christ Church. He was a Gladwin Rural & Urban Fireman for 27 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel Muma of Gladwin, 1 son: Stanley D. of Gladwin, 11 daughters: Nancy (Gary) Dull of Gladwin; Lois (Tom) of Wyoming, Debbie (Larry) of Idaho, Pam (Keith) of Gladwin, Deni of Gladwin; Sandy "Sami" of Gladwin, Marilyn (Josh) of Gladwin, Darlene "Dolly" (Jeremy) also of Gladwin; Tammy of Bay City; Stephanie of Detroit, MI Jennifer Preston of Pennsylvania, 24 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, 1 brother Aaron (Joan) of Gladwin, 2 sisters Fredia (Dan) of Gladwin, Vera (Jerry) also of Gladwin, several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his second wife, Patricia Muma, daughter Jan Owens, granddaughter, Angie Harris, 8 brothers & 1 sister.
Funeral Services will be conducted by Elder Darren Haines on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, 12:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Community of Christ Church, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 2-9:00 P.M. with a special service conducted at 7:00 P.M. by the Gladwin Rural & Urban Fire Department.
In honor of his wishes, cremation will take place.
