COAL TOWNSHIP - Thomas L "Tom" Heitzman, 50, of 1524 W. Mulberry St., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.
He was born in Coal Township, March 4, 1970, a son of the late Donald and Mae (Parkyn) Heitzman.
He graduated from Shamokin Area High School.
On Oct. 31, 2016, in Shamokin, he married Terry Mumma, who survives.
Thomas worked as a computer technician and web developer for Susquehanna Computer Innovations Inc.
He was a member of the United Church of Christ.
Tom had a passion for technology, Star Trek and dogs.
Thomas is survived by his husband, Terry Mumma; his dogs, Sunshine and Jackson; two brothers, Donald Heitzman and his wife, Debbie, and Tim Heitzman.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy; grandmother, Mae Parkyn; and his dogs, Rosie and Bijoux.
HEITZMAN - Thomas L. Heitzman, 50, of 1524 W. Mulberry St., Coal Township. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Mary Schmotzer officiating at Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury. Arrangements are being cared for by Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W. Chestnut St., Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, supervisor.
