Notes:
Norma (Trapp) Gantz, 72, of Ryegate, passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at St. Vincent's Healthcare in Billings after a lengthy stay. The family was at her side. Norma was born July 14, 1935 in Lewistown, the daughter of Eva and Ora Trapp. She spent her early life on Flatwillow Creek where the family lived, attending Tyler School and later going to Grass Range.
On June 6, 1953, she married Gerald (Jerry) Gantz. They worked at the N Bar Ranch for some time, later moving to Roundup, Lavina and settling in Ryegate where they made their permanent home. She operated The Ryegate Care for many years.
Norma enjoyed her home. She will always be remembered for her caring and sharing with her grandkids, family and all their friends. She was a great cook and always had a meal and treats whenever they came. She loved to play cards. She was a member of The Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 77 of Ryegate.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, brother Harold (Buzzy) and her sisters Helen and Wanda. Also her great grand son: Sawyer Donovan Gantz.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; daughter Eva (Ed) Heminger; and son Rowdy (Robin), all of Ryegate; sisters, Peggy Knight of Riverton, Wyo. and Esther "Muggie" Nelson of Grass Range; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials to Quick Response of the Golden Valley Ambulance of Ryegate, or the donor's choice. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26 at the Ryegate High School Gym. Perkins Funeral Home
Burial took place in the Rygate Cemetery
