Miss Nancy L. Mumma, Sharpsburg, died at her home Thursday morning, June 25, following a short illness.
She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Frances Reichard Mumma of Sharpsburg. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Sharpsburg. She was employed in Washington, D.C., for a number of years as a government clerk, and retired in 1942.
Surviving are sisters, Miss Bertha A. Mumma, Sharpsburg, Mrs. A. D. Grove, Hagerstown, and Miss Frances R. Mumma, Hagerstown, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30, originating from the Leaf Funeral Home, Sharpsburg, Rev. Robert C. Sutton officiating. Interment will be made in Mumma Cemetery near Sharpsburg. The body may be viewed at the funeral home Friday evening from 7 to 10 p.m.
