"Annie was my Sunday School Teacher for several years, was a wonderful cook, and when you just dropped in unexpectedly her table looked like she was expecting 20 people. She would often have all the class to her and Willies' farm north west of Amoret on the mound. We girls would play and run down the hill. Annie didn't want us riding the horses for fear that we would get hurt but after dinner when she would shoo us out of the house, Willie would tell us to meet him behind the barn and he would let us all ride the horses." - Written by Helen L. Hays Nordyke
