Mumaw, Martha Ellen, daughter of Amos and Catherine Shaum Mumaw, was born near Wakarusa, Ind., Dec. 23, 1891; died at the Dunlap Memorial Hospital, Orrville, Ohio, after having been struck by a car as she was walking along the road, Jan. 28, 1970; aged 78 y. 1 m. 6 d. Surviving are one sister (Anna), and 5 brothers (George, Harry, Adam, Daniel, and John). She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and one sister. She was a member of the Salem Church near Wooster, Ohio. Funeral services were held at the Martin's Church, Jan. 31, with Richard Ross and Daniel Hilty officiating.
