After 1860, the children are enumerated with the surname of Dellinger. It is unclear whether or not Sarah and Jesse ever married - probably not, however the children all used the "Mumaw" surname when they married.

There are inconsistencies in the 1880 census. Sarah is known to have been born before 1870, so she must be older than 9 years old and Charles would be older. The 1860 birth ages appear to be more correct.
