Pearl lived in the home of her daughter-in-law, Kathryn Kilburn, 2212 Chicago Street, Trenton, Missouri at the time of her death, which occured at the Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton where she had been a patient for a couple of days.
Pearl and Joe farmed north of Chula until his death. When her son and daughter-in-law moved to Trenton in 1962 she moved in with them.
Funeral services were held at the Liberty Chapel Christian Church, south of Trenton, where she had been a member for many years. Burial was in the Stucker Cemetery, northeast of Farmersville, Missouri, under the direction of the Davis-Blackmore Funeral Home, Trenton, Missouri.
