My mother was born in Sommerset, PA, July 10, 1915. At about age 4 she moved with her family to Chicago, IL, where her father, Chester Roy Burns was an executive with the B & O Railroad. Her mother was an amateur actress and played the organ for her church for many years. My grandfather, Chester Roy Burns, died after surgery in 1942. My grandmother, Adeline, died in 1969, in Riverside, CA. At 21 (1936) my mother, Emily Parker Burns, visited her brother, Chester Elwood Burns, in Aruba, Netherlands West Indies. Her brother was working as an accountant for the Standard Oil of New Jersey refinery on Aruba. In Aruba, she met and married Vincent Cefalu Fuller, originally of Atlanta, GA, on January 15, 1938, and lived in Aruba until 1963. My father was an executive with Esso/Lago Oil and Transport Company (subsidiary of Standard Oil of New Jersey). They had two children: Melissa Diane Fuller Welborn and Vincent Garth Fuller. My parents retired to Georgia and Florida in 1963 and 1978, respectively. Mother died in Florida on October 5, 1988. All of her siblings are deceased. My father, Vincent C. Fuller died in Wisconsin at his son's home March 1991. My brother, Vincent Garth Fuller, died in Wisconsin April 30, 1999. I married Michael Bel Welborn, of Pascagoula, MS, on October 14, 1967.
