KEEDYSVILLE - Charlotte Lorraine Fales, 64, of 4731 Mount Briar Road, died Monday, Aug. 31, 1998, at her home. Born Jan. 16, 1934, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Daniel G. and Theresa L. Zimmerly Mumma. She formerly was employed as a nursing assistant at Washington County Hospital; and had provided private home care. She was a member of Mount Briar Church of God. She had been a volunteer with Boonsboro Volunteer Fire Co. She is survived by her husband, Neil L. Fales, whom she married Nov. 4, 1951; a daughter, Noreen L. Haupt of Boonsboro; two sons, Scott C. Fales of Stafford, Va., and Curt N. Fales of Boonsboro; a sister, Audrey Morris; four brothers, George Mumma, Hubert Mumma, Lawrence Mumma and Layman Mumma; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six sisters and five brothers. Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Joseph C. Burdette Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, where friends may call today any time after 11 a.m.
